Howdy friend,
Let me introduce myself, My name is Pastor Jordan. I am 31 yrs old.
I was Born in Marquette Michigan on March 2nd 1976 to Helen Kontio and Bruce Shepley both of Negaunee Michigan.
I grew up in the Negaunee, Ishpeming, Palmer, Soumi Location areas till I was 8. I have lived all over the united States Growing up, That's right not only am I perfect and a Finlander I am also a Yooper!
But the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has always been a Special place to me. I graduated from Pickford High School, in Pickford Michigan in 1994.
During High School, I was very Evangelical, I trained with Super Natural ministerial training institute. Very Charismatic in Doctrine and belief.
I made a deal with God, let me Serve you and be who I am and I will promise you a Harvest that you have never seen before!
So I trained with Mark T Barclay ministries of Midland Michigan. I was denied my ordination because of my sexual identity.
Some where between there and the people telling me I needed "Deliverance" from my demons of Homosexuality, I lost my faith in God. I was told I couldn't be a "Christian" and be Gay. So for twelve years I ran from my calling and I was backslidden from God falling far from his Grace.
Because of this hurt, I turned to drug's and other forms of rebellion to God and his will! I knew in my heart of heart's that I couldn't run forever from a calling from God!
The Summer of 2006, I heard a voice tell me this, Go to your computer and "Google" "Gay Pentecostals", I was like okay and did as the voice prompted me to do.
I found a web-page for a Church in Michigan City Indiana, called New Life Community Church of Hope. I had rededicated my life to Christ earlier that week and had called the Pastor of New Life, his name is Randy Duncan. I went to Church that Sunday after 12 yrs of being away from Christ, I did what I had to I rededicated in public and confessed my sins upon him, that's right an entire church watch me go up to the Alter and rededicate my life back to Christ, they all prayed over me!
The next Sunday had come I had called Pastor Randy on Wednesday or Thursday, I told him to have the Baptismal filled, that I wanted to do what I always wanted to do. I wanted to be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ with Accordance to Acts 2:38. I was Baptized at New Life Community Church of Hope in Michigan City Indiana , by pastor Daniel Wright.
In August I had a dream of a woman for a week, named Evelyn Schave. My friends Harry and Bryan showed me a VHS of her preaching to my surprise it was the woman from my dream. A few weeks later I emailed her. Sister Evelyn emailed me back asking me to meet her, when Sis Evelyn and her husband where in Birch Run Michigan preaching a Revival service, at Walk in His Light Ministries. I went with my friends Bryan and Harry.
The weekend of the Revival was the turning point in my life. I was reminded that God dose not take away callings from people, or revoke them. I got so much out of that Revival that weekend. I got refilled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in other tongues as the spirit gave Utterance.
So now I feel God is training me for the ministry threw a church in Saginaw Michigan. Also for out reach in the Tri-Cities area in the thumb area of Michigan, Pray for Saginaw, Midland and Bay Cities area, that God will open hearts and ears to be receptive to hear the voice of God, and obey his will! Pray that God will open up hearts to be receptive.
